By using Chat Nicely, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Parents and legal guardians who create or manage an account accept these Terms on behalf of themselves and the children they add.

2. Eligibility

• Chat Nicely is designed for children ages 6–13.
• Parent or guardian accounts are required to set up and supervise a child’s use of the app.
• For children under 13, we obtain verifiable parental consent when required by applicable law.

3. Purpose of Platform

Chat Nicely is designed to provide children with a safer, positive environment for:

• Communicating with structured, age-appropriate tools
• Discovering shared interests
• Practicing kind online interactions

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, bully, or threaten others
• Share explicit or harmful content
• Impersonate others
• Share sensitive personal information (home address, phone number, passwords, school details, or outside social-media contacts)
• Exploit or manipulate users
• Attempt to bypass safety features
• Violate applicable laws, attempt to hack or disrupt the platform, or misuse user data

We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for:

• Predatory behavior
• Hate speech
• Exploitation of minors

5. Content

Ownership

Users retain ownership of content they post.

License

By posting, you grant us a limited license to:

• Display content within the platform
• Moderate and review content
• Host and operate the Services as needed to provide the app

Typed communications may be automatically analyzed, filtered, blocked, or reviewed for safety and moderation purposes.

6. Moderation & Safety

We may:

• Remove content
• Suspend or terminate accounts
• Report illegal behavior to authorities

No moderation technology can guarantee that inappropriate content will never appear. Parents should continue to discuss safe online behavior with their children.

7. Accounts

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information
• Keeping login information secure
• Supervising the children on their account
• All activity under their account
• Notifying us of unauthorized use

We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Parents may request deletion of a child’s account as described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous availability
• Error-free operation

We are not responsible for:
